I have more than four years of experience using SolidWorks, and am also a Certified SolidWorks Associate. I have spent a lot of time using various other CAD software as well, including Pro/Engineer (now known as PTC Creo), CATIA and DraftSight. Additionally I have used BOM control software such as Solidworks Enterprise PDM, Workgroup PDM, and Arena BOM management. Some of my personal CAD projects are pictured below, as well as the above image of my model of Serenity, the ship from the TV series Firefly.

Serenity: Making Spaceships

Serenity is my most complex CAD projects to date. I decided on this project becuase I wanted to learn more about clearing complex shapes in SolidWorks, beyond simple rectangles. While this project may not be what SolidWorks was designed for, it taught me a significant about about complex curves, lofting and surfacing in SolidWorks.
